If you’re having a less traditional wedding overseas, then mixing up your outfit and going for something with a bit of colour is likely to suit you down to the ground.

Celebrities Agyness Deyn and Gwen Stefani are credited with inspiring brides to look for gowns in shades of pink. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring, which features a pink sapphire, has also been offering inspiration to loved up couples.

In the week that the royal announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, the number of searches for ‘pink sapphire’ on the website doubled.

Another trend inspired by celebrities that may translate well to an overseas ceremony is that of the wedding arch. According to eBay, celebrities like the Kardashians regularly make use of balloon arches at events, and this could be why more and more couples are looking to include arches in their big day’s decor.

There were almost 1,000 searches for wedding arches on the website between the beginning of January and the beginning of February.
