The Town Hall is located in the centre of the Old Town of Paphos, the building is impressive with neoclassical columns to the front, and is surrounded other imposing buildings and the stunning new square built for Paphos European City of Culture 2017. The ceremony will be conducted by a Marriage Officer either inside the Town Hall in the marriage room which has a large screen with a Skype connection so loved ones back home can watch the wedding live, or in the Town Hall Gardens under the trees if you prefer an outdoor ceremony. The Town Hall provides a simple table for the ceremony outside, or alternatively we can provide more elaborate decor such as a wedding gazebo, stylish white ceremony table, flower stands and chiavari chairs with drapes for guests. After the ceremony the marriage office will present you with a gift from Paphos Municipality as a memento from your wedding day, and photos can be taken of you and your guests on the imposing steps at the front of the Town Hall and in the square.
The Town Hall is situated in the centre of pictureseque Peyia village which is high the hills overlooking the coastline. Weddings take place under the wedding gazebo in the attractive and very shady stone courtyard which is surrounded by gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees. The old village water building and stone steps make perfect backdrops for the post wedding photos. The wooden gazebo is decorated with white curtains and flower stands and the Marriage Officer stands behind a white covered ceremony table to conduct the marriage ceremony. The gazebo has a power supply so your choice of music can be played during the ceremony. After the wedding the Marriage Officer will present you with a small gift from Peyia Municipality plus a bottle of sparkling wine and 4 glasses for a wedding toast.
The Town Hall provides 4 basic white covered chairs for the ceremony as a standard (as in the bottom photo) and will provide more chairs on request. If you prefer we can supply chiavari chairs with drapes in gold, white, sikver or rose gold for an extra fee together with welcome banner or sign, personalised aisle runner and floral archway if you would like to make the venue more personal and special.
Known in ancient times as the garden of Aphrodite, this venue offers a lovely outdoor setting in the pretty gardens. The wedding venue is shaded by a large canvas sail and has a lovely stone backdrop with water feature. The main square in Geroskipou is close by, this has a lovely ancient church which makes a great backdrop for photos. The ceremony is conducted by a marriage officer from Geroskipou Town Hall, a white covered ceremony table and 2 white covered chairs are provided, and there is a sound system enabling you to play your own choice of music. After the ceremony the bride & groom are presented with a bottle of sparking wine.
