Minthis Resort is a beautiful golf course set in the hills at Tsada 10 minutes from the centre of Paphos. Weddings at Minthis Resort are stunning and stylish, the venue offers a great contrast between the ancient monastery and the ultra modern clubhouse, and during the very hot months it is a little cooler and much less humid than the coastal area making it very pleasant. Weddings at Minthis Resort take place in two locations, the ancient Monastery church or courtyard for a church wedding, the Monastery courtyard for a civil wedding, or the 10th Tee on the lawns for a civil ceremony. Kate my daughter and also our wedding planner chose Minthis Resort for her own wedding in 2018, and it was a fabulous day and everyone commented on how stunning the venue was, you can see some of the photos below and here is video of her wedding by our very own James Morrall Katie & Liam’s Wedding at Minthis
Stavros Tis Minthis, a twelfth century Monastery from which the resort derived its name, is located within the resort grounds and is evidence of the area’s rich heritage. Legend has it that the decision to build a monastery on the site was made following the discovery of a large cross in some mint bushes, with a lit candle placed next to it. The cross, which is now fully restored, can be found at the Holy Bishopric museum in Pafos. Stavros Tis Minthis Monastery is located within the grounds of the golf resort a few hundred yards from the modern stylish clubhouse. This venue offers a beautiful historic site for the ceremony, stunning views of the area and the contrast of a modern stylish venue for the reception, giving you the best of both worlds. weddings at Minthis

The reception meal can take place in the Clubhouse restaurant, the green lawn at the 1st Tee (for larger wedding parties) or in the Fine Dining room (Max 40 people). The food is of a very high standard as the resident chefs were trained at the Alain Ducasse training centre in France. You can select one of the delicious buffets or 3 course set menus, whichever you choose your guests will enjoy a lavish feast. If you wish to have a DJ he can play until 1am in the clubhouse.
The bride and groom travel back to the clubhouse after the ceremony in a decorated golf buggy which makes a great photo opportunity. On the way they plant their very own commemorative olive tree in the Olive Garden. The private VIP room in the clubhouse is for their use during the day, enabling you to grab a little private time together away from the hubub of the reception.
