This unique and rather different venue is situated in Lemba village which is well known for its prehistoric community and is one of the oldest villages in Cyprus. At the nearby archaeological site items dating from the Chalcolithic period (3800BC) have been round and a village from that period has been recreated using the original construction techniques , this site attracts many visitors every year.
Nestled in the hills at the head of a verdant valley overlooking the sea it is surrounded by citrus and olive groves, the valley stays green and lush throughout the hot, dry summer months due to local springs, so makes for some stunning wedding photos.
The Ceremony
The ceremony takes place on a lovely stone circle overlooking the valley next to an attractive wooden bridge which is perfect for photos. The venue is managed by Lemba Community board who make a charge for the use of the venue. No decorations or chairs are provided but we can arrange a ceremony table, chairs, decorative archways and aisle runners for you. if you would like drinks or even a reception meal here after the ceremony this can take place at Lemba Tavern which is situated a few yards away at the top of the steps leading to the venue.
