Vasilias Nikoklis Inn
Vasilias Nikoklis Inn is a unique and beautiful traditional venue situated close to the village of Nikokleia, located in the picturesque valley of Diarizos approximately 15 minutes drive from Paphos. This family owned inn is over a 100 years old, and was a traditional Khan or travellers rest. It has been tastefully renovated but still retains its historic and rustic charm. The ground floor of the inn is now operated as an exclusive wedding venue which also offers 8 characterful bedrooms including a bridal suite. Surrounded by countryside. with a backdrop of the Troodos mountains this stunning rustic inn is a unique and totally private venue for both your wedding ceremony and reception meal. The gardens and olive groves of the inn enable the owners to make their own olive oil and grow vegetables which are used in their kitchen. Surrounded by lush greenery, with a rustic vine covered terrace it is a magical venue for your wedding day.
The Ceremony
You can choose to have either a civil ceremony or Anglican church ceremony, both of which can take place in the traditional Cypriot vine-covered indoor courtyard which is ideal for smaller wedding parties, or in the beautiful scenic and shady eucalyptus garden set against a backdrop of the Troodos mountains which is perfect for those larger wedding parties.
The Champagne Reception
After the ceremony you can choose to relax with your guests and enjoy a glass of bubbly or a cocktail with a selection of canapés. Other drinks will be available from the outdoor bar by the pool.
The Reception Meal
The reception meal takes place under the rustic vine covered terrace, with guests seated on traditional wooden chairs at white covered or rustic wooden tables. The venue offers a choice of different menus including a barbeque buffet and a selection of wines are available with the meal, plus a full bar service. After dinner you can dance the night away next to the pool to the DJ or live musicians, or maybe enjoy a traditional Cypriot dancing display..
The Rooms
The Inn has 8 ensuite rooms available, these are furnished in traditional style but with modern facilities including a mini fridge, air-conditioning plus tea and coffee making facilities. The beautiful bridal suite has a fabulous 4 poster bed and stunning views. All 8 guest rooms including the bridal suite can be booked for a special price for the wedding night, including breakfast, If you choose to book the bridal suite for the wedding night it can also be used for your bridal preparation, offering a nice relaxed start to your wedding day.
