Airlines which fly to Cyprus

The following airlines fly to Cyprus, either to Paphos or Larnaka airport. Although it is obviously more convenient to land at Paphos airport if you are staying in the area, please do not dismiss Larnaka airport as an option. The airport has more direct flights to it, and although it is about an hour and a half away by road, it is a very easy drive to Paphos as it is motorway all the way. You can either transfer to Paphos by hired car, taxi or inexpensive shared taxi service.

Average rainy days

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and it is the hottest and sunniest with an average 326 sunshine days each year. Winters in Cyprus are short and mild with snow being a virtually unknown phenomenon in the coastal regions. Spring starts early, with temperatures beginning to rise noticeably towards the end of February.

Although most locals consider the 20th of September to be the date when the hot summer temperatures first begin to break, the weather in Cyprus stays pleasantly warm until much later than this. Even as late as the end of October, it is still possible to sit outside during the evenings. The dividing line between autumn and winter is somewhere around the middle of November, when temperatures begin to drop noticeably and the rainy season sets in.

Wedding Dress Steaming

Many hotels will not steam wedding dresses as they are not prepared to take the risk. We can arrange for your dress to be steamed by a specialist who will come to your accommodation either the day before or on the day of the wedding to steam press your dress, bridesmaids dresses and mens suits if required. She brings all her own equipment with her.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting

We can arrange a fun afternoon out for you and your wedding guests at a laser clay pigeon shooting range, or you can have this as part of your hen or stag do. Itis very similar to normal clay pigeon shooting except that the clay is hit by a laser beam instead of a cartridge so is safe for even children to take part. This can either take place at the driving range in Paphos, or alternatively if you want to make a day of it we can arrange clay pigeon shooting from the back of a chartered boat from Latchi harbour which will include Barbeque lunch, wine and snorkelling. Contact us for details and prices.
