The Paphos Wedding Company is a British owned and run business, we are a fully registered Cypriot limited company. We live and work in Paphos so know the area and its local businesses well. We are a small company with extensive experience in wedding planning here in Cyprus. We do not compete directly with the larger tour operators, our policy is to arrange only a small number of weddings each week so that each couple gets a high level of personal service from us.

We have experience in arranging weddings of all types from a simple ceremony with just the Bride and Groom present, through to a grand occasion with a church ceremony and formal reception with a large number of guests. We are an independent company and are not affiliated to any of the Tour Operators or Hotel groups, so are able to arrange a wedding and reception in any venue of your choice in the area. We offer a full range of both packaged and tailor made wedding services to suit your exact requirements. Please don’t think that bespoke means expensive, we can arrange weddings to suit all sizes of budget, and we will be pleased to tailor a wedding to fir your budget.

Our aim at The Paphos Wedding Company is to make your big day a stress free and memorable occasion. We understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life as we have personally arranged our own and even our children’s weddings in Cyprus, so we appreciate the stresses and strains as we have experienced them personally. We take as much care and attention over the smaller weddings as the larger affairs. Each couple are given their own personal wedding co-ordinator who will take care of everything from the legal issues to making sure that the ceremony and reception run smoothly. Your co-ordinator will be available at any time before your wedding to answer any queries you may have and of course to discuss your detailed requirements with you, and she will be available throughout your wedding day. Over the months leading up to the wedding we are happy to discuss your requirements over the phone or by email, so we are able to build a personal relationship with each couple before their wedding day.

We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by the high level of personal service that we offer to each couple, all of our weddings are different and do not have that ‘production line’ feel. We work with a small selection of carefully chosen suppliers for such items as flowers, wedding cakes, photography and table decorations. These suppliers are chosen because of their value for money, reliability and the high standard of their products and services.

We spend a considerable amout of time and effort finding out exactly what you want, and then proposing different venues and pricing plans until you are able to arrive at a decision. We will email pictures of venues to you if you are not familiar with them. When you have made a decision on the date and venue we will confirm the wedding ceremony and reception booking at the appropriate venue and then write to you detailing all that has been agreed so far. Please note that unlike some companies we will always inform you of the exact date and time of the wedding ceremony and the name and location of the hotel or restaurant which has been booked for your wedding reception. Over the months leading up to the wedding, we will work with you to choose your menus and wines, select the colour schemes for your flowers, table decorations and wedding cake, and confirm lists of guests and table plans. We will also ask you to fax through all your legal paperwork so that we can check it before you arrive.

When you arrive in Cyprus your personal wedding co-ordinator will take you to the Town Hall to apply for your marriage licence.  If you are having a church wedding she will take you to the Church office to process the paperwork and also arrange a meeting for you with the priest who will be conducting your wedding ceremony. She will then arrange a meeting at the wedding reception venue so that you can check all the arrangements, and a meeting with our photographer to run through the arrangements to ensure that you are happy with everything.  On the day of the wedding your co-ordinator will be around throughout the day to make sure that everything and everyone arrives in the right place at the right time, that the tables are correctly decorated and that everyone knows where to go and what to do.  Her objective is to make sure that everything goes according to plan. In short she will do everything possible to ensure you wedding day is a fabulous, stress free and enjoyable day for both of you.

If you do not want a full wedding planning service, we are happy to arrange specific items for you such as flowers, transport, receptions etc.
