Stavros Tis Minthis, a twelfth century Monastery from which the resort derived its name, is located within the resort grounds, evidence of the area’s rich heritage. Legend has it that the decision to build a monastery on the site was made following the discovery of a large cross in some mint bushes, with a lit candle placed next to it. The cross, which is now fully restored, can be found at the Holy Bishopric museum in Pafos. The Monastery is located within the grounds of the golf resort a few hundred yards from the modern stylish clubhouse. This venue offers a beautiful historic site for the ceremony, stunning views of the area and the contrast of a modern stylish venue for the reception, giving you the best of both worlds. weddings at Minthis
