Beautiful Beach Weddings

St Georges Beach – the perfect location for a true beach wedding

Beach weddings are in high demand for destination experiences, especially the beach ceremony—it’s a top favorite for many. Picture exchanging vows on a serene sandy beach, toes in the warm sand, and the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea as your backdrop. Now, this dream can be yours!

Our beach weddings take place on the stunning shores of St. George’s Bay in Agios Giorgios, nestled along the pristine Sea Caves coastline near the sacred island of Yeronisos. It’s a world away from touristy spots, offering a tranquil and exclusive setting few discover. You’ve got two beach options: an intimate, enclosed beach across from the island or a broader, open beach just steps away. The latter is perfect for larger parties and guests with mobility needs, thanks to its easy access.

The ceremony unfolds right on the sandy shore, guests comfortably seated on the beach. The backdrop of the blue sea creates stunning photo ops, with rock pools, flat rocks, and captivating caves for post-ceremony photos—a sure way to keep smiles all around, especially among younger guests.

Weddings here run from mid-April to late October, with ceremonies held in the afternoon until 6 pm. A marriage officer from Peyia Town Hall conducts the civil ceremony, or you can opt for a Symbolic Ceremony. The beach is relatively secluded, without sunbeds, ensuring privacy. You have the venue for 1.5 hours, plenty of time for the ceremony, drinks, and cherished photos. There are various setup options, each detailed below.

Flexible Set Up Options

The beach setup is entirely up to you, ranging from a minimal arrangement with an arch and table for an intimate ceremony to a more detailed setup featuring decorated chiavari chairs for your guests. The latter option includes a square, white flower-topped gazebo with a chandelier, a white ceremony table, an aisle runner, and an optional wooden bar for post-ceremony refreshments. Decorations can be as elaborate or simple as you prefer.

We also provide a decent sound system with Bluetooth/USB connectivity for playing music during and after the ceremony. Alternatively, you can opt for a live singer or musician to elevate the ambiance. For detailed pricing, please refer to our Wedding Packages page.

Gliki Nero Bay – for affordable beach weddings

Discover another breathtaking location for your beach wedding: Gliki Nero Bay, nestled alongside the Mediterranean Sea in the scenic Sea Caves region. This pristine coastal stretch is home to the famous local shipwreck, the EDRO II, adding to the atmosphere.

The venue is exclusively reserved for an hour, and a registrar from Peyia Town Hall oversees the ceremony. Your wedding takes place under a permanent wedding gazebo set atop a small cliff, offering panoramic sea views. It’s located within a gated area, granting access solely to wedding cars, enhancing your privacy and tranquility.

What’s special about this spot is the gazebo is built on a solid surface, eliminating concerns about sandy shoes. This feature makes it a perfect choice for guests with mobility issues or those using wheelchairs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.

The ceremony

The gazebo is beautifully adorned with white voile curtains, chairs featuring white covers, and a registrar table draped in white, all complemented by charming lanterns. We offer a music system for recorded music or can arrange for a live musician upon request. The civil ceremony is expertly officiated by a Marriage Officer from Peyia Town Hall, who generously provides a bottle of sparkling wine and four glasses for a celebratory toast.

After the ceremony, you can opt for a champagne reception from a simple bar, treating your guests while they enjoy a photo session. This venue, managed by Peyia Municipality, doesn’t involve venue hire fees, making it an affordable choice for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. For added elegance, we can provide chiavari chairs in various colors (white, silver, gold, rose gold) along with vertical drapes in a variety of hues. Additionally, an aisle runner and a welcome sign displayed on an easel add a stylish and personalised touch to your chosen venue.

Sea You Beach Bar

This lovely rustic beach bar sits right on the sandy shores of Potima Bay, nestled between Paphos and Coral Bay. Known for its sunset cocktails by the sea, Sea You offers a casual and inviting atmosphere perfect for a beach wedding.

Your ceremony takes place in a private area on the wooden deck, beneath a wooden gazebo draped with flowing white curtains. The deck offers a stunning view of the sandy beach and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, setting the scene for unforgettable wedding photos.

The reception also happens on the deck, with guests comfortably seated at  rustic wooden tables and chairs. The bar offers a range of buffet meal options and drink packages, creating a relaxed and enjoyable reception. After dinner, dance under the stars on a private dance floor and capture some stunning sunset photos right on the beach.

It’s important to note that while the wedding ceremony is in a designated area, the main bar remains open to the public.
